Back To The Future Part II (The 2015 Hilldale Scenes)

Join Scott and Hamish as they go back to the (um...very recent past?) and conclude their two part series, breaking down the 2015 scenes from the iconic film "Back To The Future Part II"! In part one, they discussed 2015 Hill Valley. Now, for part two, they delve deep into the scenes that take place at the home of the now married Marty and Jennifer McFly in 2015's Hilldale. From thumb pads to multi channel TV's to robot chefs, they'll discuss what innovations and devices the movie got right, and what still looks like the future today. They'll also talk about how Pepsi mishandled their "Pepsi Perfect" campaign, how the USA Today did everything right with their Back To The Future promotion, and why shoes like Nike MAGs may actually be closer to hitting the shelves than we think. So hydrate a pizza, put your video goggles on silent, and explore the amazing world of Wednesday, October 21, 2015 along with us!

For part one, check out the 2015 Hill Valley episode of this podcast!

BONUS EPISODE: 2015 Summer Movies

Join Lily, Shawn, and Scott as they sit down for a bonus episode of Hitting Play to discuss some notable movies premiering in the summer of 2015. Listen to their takes on, and expectations of, what looks to be a very eventful summer for moviegoers. From Marvel Comics to Disney theme parks to assigned high school summer reading novels, these movies cover it all. Find out why dinosaur cloning is always a bad idea, how fat Nick Nolte feels about mountain hiking, and why Judy Greer was Hollywood's hardest working actress this year.

Movies discussed: Pitch Perfect 2, Tomorrowland, Ant Man, A Walk in the Woods, Jurassic World, and Fantastic Four. (Plus, Shawn had a few strong opinions on Inside Out and Vacation.)
