Finally! Join Scott, Hamish, and resident Star Wars expert Paul, as they breakdown and review the long-awaited newest installment of the Star Wars franchise and continuation of the new trilogy: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi! Listen as they discuss their thoughts on what is possibly the most polarizing Star Wars film to date! How was the character of Leia handled? Did Luke Skywalker’s books tell us what we wanted to know about the force? Why did the Jedi order need to end? What about that milking scene? Did the “big reveals” in this movie strengthen or weaken the overall story? What about Snoke?! What happened there?! All of these questions are addressed and many, many more! With one person absolutely loving this movie, another disappointed, and another with an opinion maybe somewhere in the middle, this was quite an interesting discussion. May the force be with you!

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (Trailer)

Join Scott and his special guest, resident Star Wars expert Paul (in a rare, live in-studio appearance) as they breakdown every little detail of the new trailer for the highly anticipated second installment in the new Star Wars trilogy: "Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi"! Listen as they discuss what this trailer shows us, and if it's an accurate depiction of what we'll see in the movie. Is Snoke looking to upgrade his apprentice from Kylo Ren to Rey? Will Rey turn to the dark side of the force? Are Porgs a good sign for Star Wars fans? Will Luke or Leia die in this film? These are just some of the questions they address. They'll also talk about some of the new elements of the film: our first look at Snoke (not in holographic form), the salty mineral planet Crait, the new AT-M6 walkers, (sigh) Porgs, and much more. Will The Last Jedi be a ripoff of The Empire Strikes Back? Will they flip the script and have the protagonist turn evil in the darkest Star Wars installment yet? Generation X

Join Scott and Hamish as they take a look back at what is technically the very first X-Men movie, the 1996 made-for-TV: "Generation X"! Listen as they review this feature length TV movie that was also a failed pilot for a possible series. They'll compare the original members of the team that are seen in the Uncanny X-Men and Generation X comic books to their live-action counterparts. They'll also discuss the new characters that were created just for this production, the interesting acting choices of Matt Frewer, scenes that were cut or reshot for television, and the possible impact that a picked up Generation X series would have on the X-Men cinematic franchise that would start only four years later. From cheesy CGI and X-ray vision, to accents and dream webs, they'll review it all! So put on your dream helmet and ride the white light as you laugh along with us! Zap!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (w/ Steve Lavigne)

Join Scott as he welcomes a very special guest to the show: an artist, illustrator and letterer for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, (and a guy described as the inspiration for the character Michelangelo), Steve Lavigne! Listen as Steve talks about the early days of the Turtles, from working with creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird out of his apartment, to seeing the underground comic book expand to include a popular toy line and animated series, all within a span of three years! He'll also share some stories from the set of of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature film, including getting to meet the great Jim Henson! From working on TMNT comics, and action figure designs, to creating most of the licensing art you've seen on your favorite Turtle products, and owning and operating the great store and gallery, Shellback Artworks, Steve has been involved in all things TNMT for decades! So sit back, grab yourself a slice (hold the anchovies, dude!) and listen to a great conversation about everyone's favorite Turtles! Cowabunga!

Wonder Woman (Trailer) and Justice League (Trailer)

Join Shawn and Scott as they breakdown and review the new trailers for the fourth and fifth installments of the DC Extended Universe: "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League"! Listen as they review these highly anticipated trailers that premiered at San Diego Comic Con and discuss every little detail! From the "Wonder Woman" trailer, they'll discuss Gal Gadot's portrayal of the immortal demigoddess Diana, and her first adventure away from the land of Themyscira in the early 20th century. They'll talk about the look of this version of the Wonder Woman costume, as well as Chris Pine's character, Steve Trevor, and his importance to the Wonder Woman franchise.
